  • Check Out His Work“As journalists, we try our very best to provide an accurate and non-biased account of the events and news-makers that are happening around us.  This includes current events like local, national and international news…and the information you need to know as you start your day….like traffic situations…weather conditions…and information on events that may have an impact on you and your family throughout the day. “

  • The job is not easy or as glamorous as it may look.  Getting some of the bigger stories right can take long hours and a lot of footwork…making sure you get both sides of an issue…and your facts right.   What you see on the air…only happens after a long process…and hard work…often by a number of people who are never seen on camera.”
  • “An example of democracy in action is our debate series that we hold every fall.  We feature debates between candidates running for political offices…usually mayors competing in particular towns…state representatives or senators running for State House positions….or for the candidates running for U.S Congress.  These debates become informational forums that voters can use to help them decide who to select when they enter a voting booth in November.
  • “Our station motto is “22News working for you.”    We tackle a variety of issues every week…from “Cone Zone Alerts”…letting people drivers know when road construction work may slow down their commute…to have a dedicated bureau at the State House…to follow the lawmakers from western Massachusetts who craft the legislation that affects and change our daily lives.  We have a 22News I-Team that digs deeper into stories…like “How suspects get back on the street hours after they’re put in  handcuffs” …or “Does your child’s school have carbon monoxide detectors?” or “Thousands of elevators haven’t been inspected in Massachusetts this year.”
